SUPPORT OUR MISSION
At REE-CHARGE CIC we provide culturally sensitive mental health and wellbeing support for individuals, families, and communities who may face barriers to accessing traditional services.
Based in the heart of West Bromwich, we are a community-focused wellbeing café and hub offering a safe, inclusive space where people can access early support, connect with others and build resilience.
Our services are designed to complement existing health and social care provision, with a strong focus on prevention, early intervention, and reducing mental health inequalities, particularly for disadvantaged and ethnic minority communities.
Our approach
REE-CHARGE CIC delivers Tier 1 (Universal / Preventative) and Tier 2 (Targeted Early Intervention) mental health support for both adolescents and adults.
We work in partnership with communities and wider services to ensure support is accessible, culturally appropriate and responsive to real needs. Our team reflects the communities we serve and works in a way that is respectful, empowering, and person-centred. We believe support should be:

-
Accessible and welcoming
-
Culturally sensitive
-
Offered at your pace
-
Focused on strengths not just difficulties
Tier 1: Universal & Preventative Support

Tier 1 support is open to everyone and focuses on promoting wellbeing and preventing mental health difficulties before they escalate.
Our Tier 1 services aim to build individual and community resilience by providing a single point of access to supportive activities, information, and connection.
Tier 1 support includes:
-
A welcoming community wellbeing café and safe space
-
Therapeutic workshops and wellbeing activities
-
Friendship circles and social connection groups
-
Open House sessions
-
Calming and relaxation sessions
-
Mental health awareness and community education

These services are available regardless of whether someone has a diagnosed mental health condition and are designed to support everyday mental wellbeing.

Tier 2: Targeted Early Intervention Support
Tier 2 support provides targeted help for individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, with the aim of preventing issues from becoming more severe.
Support is tailored, culturally informed, and delivered by experienced practitioners who take time to understand individual needs.

Tier 2 support may include:
-
1:1 emotional and wellbeing support
-
Counselling
-
Focused group sessions and therapeutic workshops
-
Crisis Café support
-
Ongoing guidance and coping strategies

Where appropriate, we also help people access additional or specialist services through signposting and referrals.
